KERNEL Mode Heap Corruption

Anonymous

I'm using 3 pc systems with WIN10 pro and after updating the october 2018 version on all of these 3 computers the same problem: green screen in row after kernel mode heap corruption.

I think that there's a lot of responsibility by Microsoft!  Problems handmade without enough of care.

Then you have to spoil your time and nerves. The best way to forget windows for the future?

    Hi harm9963,

thanks for your explanation with the same appearances.

I don't play any game, the only bad game is using Microsoft unsecure games.

The program whocrashed explains: no problem with hardware or other installed programs. It's in the kernel program from Microsoft.

I made these experiences with 3 computers and always the same. It's not only we two of us it's thousands and that's the shame I want to explain.

Have a great time and a good start in 2019

Sorry for that: I copied my response from an email I wanted to send instead of using the platform.

    Hi Mithin_EJ,

    thank you for your response.

Today I tryed to find new Drivers for all installed programs and items on the system. A handfull drivers had been updated what the automatic program couldn’t afford.

I’m watching the situation and will send you an answer in a couple of days.

For better understanding:   I had the same Problems on my ACER Z5610 after updation WIN Oct-version. Green screens in row; 2 minutes after booting, 10 minutes, 1 hour and MS apologized for that big problem most of the users got. Next update 10 days later and it was o.k. again.

The same Problem with a tablet too; I don’t use the tablet very often and meantime I think it’s o.k.?

This actual pc Lenovo Yoga 500 had that Problem after installing the oct update a couple of weeks ago. And last days after Starting from Hibernation the grenn screen after 5 minutes. It boots normally and then it’s running the whole day long! – next start and sometimes even during the work.

Using program WhoCrashed I was told that no Hardware Problem or program driver caused the problems.  This time 2 problems in

            ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x1B1B40) and

tcpip.sys (tvpip+0x15FD11) – this error happened tody the 1st time.

Thanks again and I’ll inform you next year!

I wish you all the best for 2019

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern on Microsoft Answer Community.

    1. Are you getting any error message?
    2. May I know the Make and model of your computer?
    3. Does the computer boot to the desktop?

    Method: Perform a clean boot.

To diagnose whether this issue occurs in “Safe Mode”, let’s reboot the computer in safe mode and check if the issue appears there as well. I recommend you to follow this article Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10, if the issue does not appear in safe mode, place the computer in clean boot state and check if the issue reappears. You need to follow the article How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Disclaimer: A ‘clean boot’ starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

Your computer may temporarily lose some functionality while in a clean boot environment, however, that functionality will return when you reset the computer to start normally after you have finished your troubleshooting.

If the computer boots to the desktop I suggest you to try updating the Video Card drivers, follow this article Update drivers in Windows 10 to update the drivers, and check if that helps.

Please reply for all the required information to help you further.

    Regards,
