so as of late my computer has been blocking me from sending or receiving Bluetooth files from my mobile phone. every time I try I get the message of "windows was unable send some files, files transfer is disabled by policy. please check with your system administrator" I've checked and my profile is the admin profile for my laptop, but I haven't changed any setting to block Bluetooth. what am I doing wrong?

    Hello tyler

    Try this way

Open Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced Sharing Settings

Scroll down and click the down arrow to open All Networks

Click Enable file sharing for devices that use 40 or 56 bit encryption

    Restart your computer

If that dint work try this

    go to services

    Bluetooth support service

    click log on tab

    select "this account"

then click browse button and from the dialog box click advanced

    then click find now

    select "LOCAL SERVICE"

    OK

remove password and confirm password from the log on screen mentioned in step (3)

    start Bluetooth

    I hope it helps
