Malicious Malware Program shuts down before Finishing

Question

When I start to use the malicious malware remover my computer turns off after approximately 30 minutes despite the fact that the setting on the computer is set to never sleep and the program is not finished. I have windows 10.  Any remedies?

To address your original question, the tool will shut down.restart if it does detect malare as part of removal process.

The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (mrt.exe) only scans for limited number of prevalent detectable malware It's a subset of definitions of Windows Defender).  It is provided every month with Windows Security updates and runs silently in the background as an extra check on your system in case your resident antrivirus progrm may not be functioning.

There's really no need to run it manually as long as you have some other functioning antivirus/antimalware program.

Is Win 10 built in Windows Defender running along with (I assume Premium version of) Malwarebytes?If Windows Defender is activetly providing protection there is no need to manually run the Malicious Software Removal Tool.

My antivirus/malware program is Malwarebytes

Please confirm which operating system you're using. In addition what you use for antivirus/animalware program(s).

You posted in Microsft Security Essenials category which is not available for Winows 10.

Can you be more specfic as to the "Malicious Malware Program" you refer to?
