Hello , 4 days ago I opened my Toshiba Satellite p55w-p5220 laptop and my touch pad randomly stopped working, the mouse cursor does not move or show . I tried the FN+keys and did nothing,I went to device manager and clicked on (mouse and other devices) and was giving me the code 45 error, which is where a device is not connected. So I uninstalled the elan PS/2_SM bus port Input Device from device manager and then the tab(mouse and other pointing devices) disappeared. I downloaded the Touch pad driver and it still didn't show (mouse and other devices) in device manager until I clicked on "show hidden devices".Once again still giving me the Code 45. I have a windows 8.1 64-bit OS.Please help, thanks in advance.
