Sign-in process initialization Failure - Windows Server 2012 R2

Question

Dear All,

I am having a Windows Server 2012 R2 with 2 VMs running on it. The Host Server is giving the error while accessing it Physically before the login screen as below:

Interactive sign-in process initialization has failed. Please check the Event Logs for Details.

At the same time following are accessible from a remote machine:

a) Services

b) Event Viewer

When trying to do a RDP (MSTSC), once we give the username and password, a blank screen is coming and automatically closes.

Dear Kapil,

Your Solution is for Windows 10 while mine is Windows Server 2012 R2.

Kindly assist for Server OS.
