This is what it came up with. If you're unable to help, I have another computer with Genuine Windows 10, so I can use the product key it has.
Windows 10 Activation Failed: Code 0x800705b4
Hello.
I have an HP Pavilion dv6 Laptop. It came running Windows 7 Home Premium when I purchased it, and it was genuine Windows. I am aware of the "Install Windows 10 on Genuine software, and you will get the equivalent of it." I installed it this evening, and I realize that I don't have Genuine Windows. I used the software installation from Microsoft's website, am connected to internet, and I can't figure out my problem, since I did pay for Windows 7 Home Premium in 2009.

2019-01-31T01:43:49+00:00 Hi Brace. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 9 year Windows MVP and Independent Advisor, here to help you.
The free Windows 10 Upgrade program ended two and a half years ago.
It is true that the left the method to activate using the old Product Key operative for quite a while longer, but I don't think it's still working. You can try by inserting the Windows 7 Product Key into Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change Product Key.
Let us know what you find.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
