Lost networking after windows updates
The last windows update applied Tuesday, 8th, 2019 broke my windows workgroup networking.
The windows 7 pro or the windows 2008 are no longer available in my network tab and when trying to map a drive using existing login credential I get an invalid handle error, even if I try to map a drive using the administrator user name and password.
I tried to roll back the update and it does not rolls it back, I have done quite a few troubleshooting such as disabling the network card restart and enabling it again and it did not work, I tried to restore from previous last known settings and it keeps getting the last update.
My shared USB printers are not working because network is no longer available, mapping a network drive is also no longer available
any Idea how to fix this issue, Is Microsoft aware of this and working on a patch to fix, or this is a way to force us to upgrade operating system.
Just to be clear, internet access is working, it is just the internal networking that is broken.
Windows 7 pro, windows 2008 server and windows 10 can not see the shared networks anymore.
Hoping any one has the fix
Thanks
