Windows 10 Explorer Causing Ram Memory Increase
Hi,
For reasons I can't quite understand every time I refresh my desktop (right click) I'm having my Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) rise in memory (RAM) in my Task Manager so I have to restart it every time to have normal memory usage but then again same thing happen every refresh
Rest assured this is not a virus, I'm not sure if it's some updates issue or my fault,
my guessing it's due to some registry twist or third party software I'm not sure...
although I did remove (Wise Care, Advanced systemcare, CCleaner)
So if there is anyway to restore the default explorer...
Edit : All my drivers and Windows are up to date
Edit 2: I would like to fix this manually in other word I'm not counting on Windows Restore Settings stuff never helped me so far...
Update : I have "delayed launched" from Intel i'm gonna look into it
Note : System Restore is not an option.
Also please don't tell me to use sfc scannow i'm not that dumb
Any ideas ?
Thanks !

2018-12-08T02:59:27+00:00 Hi Ishaq. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.
If you used those optimizers to tweak WIndows then it might already be ruined. Windows will not tolerate that kind of tweaking when all it needs is a great install in the first place follow these illustrated steps in this link which compile the best possible Clean Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...
There is also an automated Fresh Start that reinstalls Windows while shedding factory bloatware that can cause issues and affect performance, saves your files, but doesn't clear the drive to get it cleanest: https://www.howtogeek.com/265054/how-to-easily-...
Until then Go over this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...
Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
Update your drivers from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.
If nothing else helps you can run a Repair Install by installing the Media Creation Tool and choosing from it to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows in about an hour while saving your files, apps and most settings, solves many problems while also bringing it up to the latest version 1809 which you need anyway and by the most stable method. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m...
If you try all the above and the problem persists with RAM usage way out of proportion to CPU usage, then I'd run Crucial System Scanner to consider a RAM Upgrade using the best tool to determine this: http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
You can also Test your RAM overnight to stress it with a more reliable bootable test, following these steps which test both the sticks and the slots: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram...
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
