Windows Security Warning on Start Up - Scripting Disabled

I removed malware and had to delete my Internet Explorer app all together so it wouldn't come back and I obviously unchecked the wrong box and disabled the scripting.

How do I enable my scripting back without losing apps or any other data?

    Mary,

Whoops, items* is what I meant to say, not times.

    Mary,

My mistake, the set of instructions was to actually enable scripting! It should be the same, uncheck those times.

    Keep me posted.

    Hi Mary,

I'm an Independent Advisor here to help.

To disable scripting without even a remote risk of losing your data:

Go to Internet Options/Internet Properties (look for it in your Start menu), and go into the Advanced tab.

    Uncheck the following:

    • Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)
    • Disable script debugging (Other)

That should do the trick. Let me know if this works or not.
