Surface Pen Interacting with Website

I have a Surface Go Tablet with keyboard and surface pen. The pen generally works fine but I am an online tutor and the pen will not draw on my platform's integrated whiteboard in Google Chrome. Without a stylus, I click and drag to mark on this whiteboard but it seems that the surface is not operating as a mouse would if I press on the screen and try to write.

Any advice? Some tutors with other tablets have been able to switch their stylus to "mouse mode" when working with websites. Not sure if there is something like that with the Surface. Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern on Microsoft Answer Community.

Did you try to use the Surface Pen as a mouse, on a different browser/file to drag and mark?

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the integrated whiteboard in Google Chrome?
