Microsoft Solitaire Collection white screen

When I try and play Microsoft Solitaire I get a white screen. I am using Windows 10 with all updates installed including the October update to 1809

Microsoft Mahjong works okay

I have tried the following

  • Updated to latest version
  • Reset the app
  • Uninstalled the app and reinstalled
  • Ran the trouble-shooter
  • Removed temporary files

    That's amazing. Many thanks. I had given up all hope of the one thing my wife uses the PC for.

    What did that fix do actually, that reinstalling the app couldn't?

    Hi.

    Follow these steps:

    1. launch powershell
    2. Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
    3. Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
