    Hello,

    Set your connection as Metered:

    See if this helps!

Hey Norman. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

You can set a Metered Connection which will restrict almost all background services that aren't critical to Windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/226722/how-when-and-w...

Other ways to limit Windows 10 data use are here: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/manage-windows...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

Hi there, thanks for your question.

Here's a Microsoft Support article that outlines instructions to setting your data limit in Windows 10:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402822...

    Here are the steps:

    • Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Data usage.
    • Under Show settings for, select the network that you want to set a data limit for.
    • Select Set limit, choose the Limit type you have for your data plan, enter other limit info, and then select Save.

If you'd like an in-depth article explaining more settings you can configure, please see the below:

    https://www.windowscentral.com/how-monitor-and-...

Please let me know if you need further support! Thanks!

    Hi,

Are there any Windows update pending?

When you are connected, type in resmon in Run dialog box, open the Network Tab, take a snip and post in the next reply
