I’ve faced an issue with Microsoft Edge. Since the last update (1809) it hasn’t been able to connect to Wi-Fi, I receive an error code 0x8027025b. Google Chrome works without any problems

    Repair / Reset Edge

Windows Key+i > Apps > Click Edge > Advanced Options

Repair - No data will be impacted.

If repair doesn't work - Reset - You may lose some data in Edge including browsing history, cookies and settings but favorites may not get lost. You are recommended to take a backup of your favorites before resetting (Open Edge > Click the 3 dots in top right corner > Import from another browser > Export to file)

Hello Michael, my name is Alexander. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'm happy to assist you!

Please, follow the troubleshooting methods, which you can find below:

Method 1: Refer to the following support article:

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402749...

Note: If you reset Microsoft Edge, then all passwords, favorites, and other personalized data including your custom settings will be lost and the default settings will be applied and this isn't reversible.

Method 2: Try disabling antivirus and firewall.

I recommend that you try disabling any 3rd party antivirus and security-related products installed on your computer.

Method 3: Try reinstalling Microsoft Edge.

    Please, do as follows:

Step 1: Navigate to the location below and delete everything in this folder

    C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Step 2: After deleting the contents of the above folder, tap on the Start Menu -> Look for PowerShell -> Right-click on PowerShell -> Run As Administrator and type/copy and paste the command below, then click on Enter.

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" –Verbose}

Step 3: Once done, restart your PC and check the issue is fixed.

    Method 4: New User Account.

If the methods don’t help, then try creating a New Administrator User Account

    Best regards,

    Alexander B.
