Ok so I have had my computer for 2 years and everyday I have used Firefox without a problem. However, this morning when I turned on my PC I could not start Firefox. It told me "This application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more details." What, I though there was a problem so I did some digging and found out about way to use the sxstrace log. so I did it and I got this:

    Hello,

    I see a problem.

I tried to uninstall it earlier but it just removed it from the program list and kept it.

Now it will not show up in Revo.

Is there a way to manually remove all of the files and links for firefox?

If you are unable to uninstall, try using the free Revouninstaller trial to remove Firefox.

    Hi Daniel

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

I was having some issues yesterday with Mozilla Firefox on Windows 10 1809, but uninstalling and reinstalling resolved issue.

I would give that try to see if it works for you.

    If that does not work:

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: rstrui.exe

    Hit Enter

This will start the system restore wizard. Choose a restore point more before the problem started.
