windows 10, error 1935

Installing Acrobat 9 Pro results in the following error message:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {98AE13A2-E7AF-D6C3-A01F-C88389A1E18E}. HRESULT.. 0x80073683.

This occurs when installation is 99,96% installed

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

  1. Disable your antivirus and then try to install it. Don't forget to enable AV.
  2. Try installing in clean boot mode -

Boot your computer in Clean boot mode.

Refer to the section - Install, uninstall, or run an application

Don't forget to do - Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting.

  1. Please use this Microsoft Fix to see whether this sorts out the problem for you

    Hi Vijay

    I did not disable my 'main' AV prog. but I disabled Ccleaner .

    The other perhaps notable action was that after the previous failed install of Acrobat, I shut the PC down before Acrobat was able to 'wind back' deleting the files it had installed, then I installed Acrobat again.

    So which of the above actions fixed the problem - I've no idea!
