I see that you already received a goodreply in your thread in the urbackup forum...
urbackup reported by Windows Defender
I am installing Urbackup Server 2.3.8. Windows Defender says unknown publisher. Are there any reports of hacked Urbackup installs with virus or ransomware or spyware out there.
Sophos Home Premium also does not like it to run.
Is this the big boys trying to stifle open source software?

2019-04-19T23:28:46+00:00 It's not "the big boys trying to stifle open source software." It's security software trying to keep you safe. Sounds to me like the installation package isn't signed correctly. Ask about it in the UrBackup forums.and make sure you downloaded it from the correct site.
