Error code: STATUS_WAIT_2 (0x80070002)

Question

Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Users\Mel and Cathy\Desktop\Sometimes it Takes a Storm_1. Error:(STATUS_WAIT_2 (0x80070002))

How can this file be deleted from my backup check?

This file is not (it was a song that was DELETED) on my computer.

Perform the procedure to repair the system files:

Follow these instructions: press the Windows + X keys and select Command Prompt (Administrator) or Windows PowerShell (Administrator), in the window that will open, you must type the commands in their respective order:

• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

• sfc /scannow

Each of these actions can take a few minutes, so it is important to execute one at a time. When finished, you must restart the PC.

Backup Systems in 10 are deprecating and are planned to remove in a future release. Consider switching to a 3rd party program like Macrium Reflect:

Your suggestion from "Tenforums", which implies it is an MS-sanctioned site, suggests Macrium software as a better choice than continuing to use MS's backup software. However:

1. Macrium is not free, and charges after a 30-day free trial.
2. When attempting to install Macrium, a warning occurs that it is not an MS-sanctioned program and is not available from the MS Store.

If as you say, MS's backup software is "deprecating" and will not be in future releases, does MS have plans for a sanctioned backup functionality? Macrium does not give me a nice, warm feeling for the future even if I decide to pay for it after 30 days.
