Using Graph api with O365 login on custom app

Hi there

Could you provide us with some detailed documentation on how to use the Graph api to use Microsoft login on a custom app, not using the MS engine? Basically we need to run the engine on our system (as it were) and call the api for authentication via office 365 logins.
