Please help to fix the below error code..

someone else connected to the remote pc error code 0x5

Pretty much the same for Windows 7.

Go to : Start.

Type in : Remote.

Select :  Allow remote access to your computer and open it.

Take the tick ( Check mark ) OUT OFF : Allow remote assistance connections to this computer.

Underneath in the heading : Remote Desktop select : Don`t allow connections to this computer.

Click : Apply then Ok.

Do have a read of the blue links on what it serves and does as it explains in a bit more detail.

    Hi there,

    Please perform the following steps:

    1. Type "remote****settings" in the Cortana search box and selectAllow remote access to your computer
    2. Click on the Check Box Don’t Allow Remote Connections to This Computer.
    3. Restart the PC
    4. Follow the same steps and this time Enable Allow Remote Connections to This Computer.

If this does not solve the issue, please open Command Prompt and run the following command.

    sfc /scannow

    Thanks.

    Anish.
