Hi

PS C:> get-date

03 February 2019 10:31:23

PS C:> Get-NetAdapter

Get-NetAdapter : Invalid class

At line:1 char:1

  • Get-NetAdapter
  •

    + CategoryInfo          : MetadataError: (MSFT_NetAdapter:ROOT/StandardCimv2/MSFT_NetAdapter) [Get-NetA

   dapter], CimException

    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : HRESULT 0x80041010,Get-NetAdapter

So......

In 1803 the above definitely produced the correct output, have I changed something inadvertently, or MS have a bug?

I am still trying to find a result, DuckDuckGo is still quacking.

    Hi

A repair upgrade is another option you can consider. It reinstalls Windows 10 and fixes broken operating system files while keeping your applications, files and settings in tact.

    Thanks.

Tried it and PowerShell stubbornly refuses to quit.

So sfc /scannow tells me of corruption, but not exactly what.

So I have un-installed odds and ends, including PS.

Done a HP Hard Reset and and MS restart.

So for now I will try the Bertie Bassett solution -

Bertie Bassett, a figure made up of liquorice allsorts.

So thanks for now, and I will update as necessary.
