Hi,

I am building a personal bot app to send proactive messages to Microsoft Team users.

When tenant admin pre-install Teams app using the app setup policy, the app will get installed in user Teams workspace only after he/she logs into Teams. Users who have already logged into Teams, still have to log out and log in again for the app to get installed. So, my bot couldn't send proactive messages to these users till the time they log out and log in again.

I want to know few things.

  1. What is the maximum time users stay logged in?
  2. How often users get automatically logout from Teams?
  3. Is there any option for users to stay logged in all the time?

    @Veera ,

    Question 1. What is the maximum time users stay logged in?

    It has no time limitation for this.

    Question 2. How often users get automatically logout from Teams?

    It has no such feature now. User should manually log out Teams client.

    Question 3. Is there any option for users to stay logged in all the time?

    It has no such option now.

    The next best thing for your scenario is to inform users to manually sign out and re-sign in Teams client.
