Question

I need help directing a display adapter to my laptop monitor directly

i mean like the input to the monitor directly

if i cant get input then is there any software that can enable video input??

i also have another thing to say:

i have come to understand from a couple of my other threads that almost no laptops have video input capability

that is why i am asking this question

does anyone know any software that can allow video input?

i know what your thinking..."oh he's an idiot he thinks that software is hardware"

no i don't

the software that i'm looking for is software that can go in manually and give the computer video input capabilities (e.g. kind of like what windows updates do)

i would really appreciate if somebody could give a link or something to software that can do this\

Please explain this in a bit more detail:

1.

Are you trying to attach a monitor to your laptop, are you trying to use your laptop as a monitor for your PC or is there just no picture on your laptop screen?

2.

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters section

What device(s) are listed there?

There are two adapters: 

1. that regular Intel adapter

2. Fresco Logic IDDCX Adapter

If you only problem is display drivers on windows 10 that you don't have a problem. Windows 10 get all driver altomatecly only if you some fanssy video card,then open the site for video card and get the driver for windows 10 but I know a lots of gamers and they never prefur windows 10 but the case is black dastop win buton + ctrl +shft + B I thing this is do work
