Power Plans

I recently did a Fresh Start on my HP laptop as I was having issues with Windows Defender and my computer was running slow despite my best efforts to fix it. The install solved the problems I was having with Windows Defender and speed but I have been having issues with the power settings ever since. The option to select the power plans are gone and it will not allow me to use the Command Prompt to reset the schemes, manually install them, or find their location (if they even exist).

I am running the current update of Windows 10 Home (1809).

    Hi Jasmon

When you performed the fresh start, did you download and install any drivers from the support page for your device on the HP website?

What is the exact Model No. of you HP Laptop - that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom casing

I downloaded HP Support Assistant, HP ePrint, HP Smart, and HP Coolsense as they had been removed but I have not downloaded any independent drivers.

    The model number is RTL8723BENF.
