System configuration boot advanced options.

I have 2x  4 core Intel xeon 5470 processors and 64 GB 800htz  fully buffered memory.

Boot advanced options in system configuration says number of processors = 1 and  Maximum memory =0

Should I change them to 2 and 65536 and make all boot settings permanent?

    Hi no1-cherrypicker,

My name is Roger W, an independent advisor trying to help. "This is an interesting capability. Turns out this is provided to help troubleshoot issues in using multiple processor(s, or cores, most likely) during boot. By default, all Processors/Cores are enabled. So if you exercise this option, it can only be to REDUCE CPU capabilities. This is one of those "best left alone" settings, IMO -- though you can play with it if you like"
