Windows Background Color

I have set the following registry entries to reduce the blinding white Window background color on my Windows 10 computer:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors 190 190 190

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\Colors 190 190 190

But every time the computer goes to sleep, these setting are reset to 255 255 255. Restart doesn't work so I have to power off and reboot the computer to reset these settings.

How can I make these settings permanent through sleep occurrences?

Thank you.

    Hi Rocy

For now there is nothing you can do, the Windows 10 theme setting is resetting those color reg keys

The good news is, in a couple of weeks version 1903 will be released and that gives us much better UI peraonlization choices and you will be able to get rid of the blinding white Window background color forever, just by changing a setting in Personalization, rather than having to edit the registry . .
