Keyboard language in taskbar

Question

I like to have as minimum icons in toolbar as possible. One thing that I can't trun off is keyboard language. When I am on Typing and go to Advanced keyboard settings I put the tick in the setting: Use the desktop language bar when it's available, because that ist the only thing that seems to turn it off. The sign disapears until the next boot. After that the setting is unchanged but the icon is back. When I put the tick out and put it back in the icon disappears again till the next time.

Do you have any suggestions how to turn the icon off in the toolbar?

You should be able to turn off the keyboard input in Start > Settings > Personalization > Taskbar

Scroll down then click 'Turn system icons on or off'

Toggle off 'Input indicator'

You can also toggle between languages by pressing 'Windows key + Spacebar'

2 things to do . . .

Right click your Taskbar, choose Taskbar Settings

On the resulting page, click 'Turn System icons on or off'

Turnoff the 'Input Indicator' icon

Then in the Settings App, go to Home - Accounts - Sync your Settings

Turn off all sync settings

That should stop that icon re-appearing after a restart . . .
