Unsigned Drivers Windows 10 - Removed

Hello, one if you any of your clever people can help. We sell equipment where we supply machinery, PC with Windows 10 Pro and  hardware interface system, the Interface is USB based and comes with drivers which are unsigned.

Installing the drivers via the unsigned mode on Startup is not an issue. However what we are finding, is on some systems. Not everyone, that the USB device no longer has an active driver for it, and system does not work, We have to talk the customer through starting in the special mode to allow us to connect and reinstall the driver.

Is there anyway to force windows to keep that driver regardless once installed? The issue does seem to happen usually after windows update.

The device once plugged in the USB Port is never usually removed.

Thanks

I need to install a unsigned driver to operate my model railway, the methods shown in various web sites need to enter a number eg. 7 in version home 1809 that has been installed on my laptop no numbers are shown only restart icon which on doing so wants me to enter a bitlock number which I have no idea what that is.

How do I install a unsigned driver?

Windows 64-bit has always been designed to avoid unsigned drivers. The only way to ensure the drivers stay there is to have the developer sign them.
