Activation Error after BitLocker Encryption

Question

I recently upgraded from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro, largely to get BitLocker. However, once I turned BitLocker on and encrypted my computer, I am now getting an activation error message: "No Product Key was found on your device. Error Code 0xC004F213"

Also, strangely, my computer is now showing that the edition of Windows I'm running is Win 10 Enterprise v.1809.

Unfortunately, I can't find the box that my laptop came in, so I don't have the original product key that was on it. Not sure how I can go about activating Windows 10 (Pro), now. Please help!

Hi JJ. I"m Greg, an installation specialist, 9 year Windows MVP and Independent Advisor, here to help you.

It's a known issue where upgrade to Pro shows Enterprise. I thought it was resolved shortly after it arose by a WIndows Update so first thing to do is expedite all WIndows Updates until no more are offered after restart.

You can also try running the Activation Troubleshooter which can be self-healing, at Settings > Update & Security > Activation

If that doesn't work then contact Microsoft Support phone or chat options here: https://partner.support.services.microsoft.com/.... This has always worked for those who have still gotten this error.
