WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR Blue Screen Error

Anonymous
2019-05-30T01:33:36+00:00

Hello,

I have been getting repeated Blue Screen Errors for the past few week, but they have all had different error codes. I've been struggling to find solutions to this problem, and have tried many. All of the Blue Screen errors would reach 100% on the error collection but never restart my computer. So, I had to manually restart my computer everytime, which consequently meant that the error would not be logged in the Event Viewer. That is, until today. This most recent crash finally restarted the computer by itself and logged the error on the Event Viewer. That error file can be found below:

Codename Sandy Bridge-E

Let's start with updating your BIOS which you should update from your computer maker's site. Also see if there are important driver updates for you from there.

My minidump folder is empty, and according to the page you linked me to, I already have the correct settings for allowing minidumps.

    Hi HarrisB1

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Are you getting dumps in C:\Windows\Minidump? If not, you will have to enable dump collection. Read below -

To know what exactly is causing the crashes, I need to analyze minidumps generated by crashes with WinDBG. WinDBG is the only tool which can do end to end complete analysis of ..dmp files generated by BSOD (Blue screen of death).

    Go to C:\Windows\Minidump

Zip the contents of the folder corresponding to date and time of your crashes.

Upload the content to Onedrive or any other file sharing site for me to locate the problem.

If you don't get minidump files in above folder, you will need to enable minidump generation. If you need help to generate Minidump - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.
