Tried to activate using the product key I have but wont activate?????????

    Will do that. then after that would it be the same situation if I went in to settings and did a reset in there without keeping files and settings.  Would I still get the same activation error?

    Also you can open CMD as Administrator and write: slmgr.vbs /dlv

    Hi craig, thank you for that screenshot . . .

    I am sorry, it is likely that the Windows 10 licence you are running is a volume licence version and is meant to run in a Company or organisation where the activation is re-armed on a regular basis or it is a cracked version of Windows

    . . .

    Do you know the history of your PC or version of Windows?

    Is your PC second hand or Windows was reinstalled by a PC Repair Shop?

    Hi Craig,

    Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

    Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

    Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog . . .
