Hello Kathleen,
Many thanks for taking an interest in this problem. I have just checked the Epson Software Updater and there are no outstanding Essential Products to be installed. Am I looking in the right place?

I have an Epson 8500 network printer. I can print PDF documents direct from websites from my laptop (Windows 7) and also from my iPad, but I cannot print them from my PC (Windows 10). When I select "Print" the usual black square appears, but when I then select "Print" on that it shows "something went wrong". There is a box for "Let the app change my printing preferences" which is ticked. If I untick it and again select "Print" it comes up with "Your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x800705b4". This problem has developed recently, and Windows 10 has been installed for some time, so perhaps it is related to a Windows 10 upgrade? Any ideas?

I recommend using SFC
Press the Start key and type the word CMD, right click on the command prompt and select Run as administrator, enter the following commands one by one followed by the Enter key:
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
•- DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
•- sfc /scannow
Downloaded and installed the most recent printer driver V2.60 . Problem is still there, I'm afraid!
You have to look in the official Epson page, to see if there is a newer driver, if not, download the most recent and reinstall it
