Move several existing teams into new global team

During the past months several users created a team with channels for their department. I now created a team where I would like to have a channel per department. But ofcourse I dont want them to have to start creating everything from zero. I wanted to move the existing team to the new one as a channel. Is this possible. Example : I have a team called HR. In the new team Benelux, I will have a channel called HR. I want the content in that channel to be the old HR team. Now I added a link in the general channel that user must push to goto the old HR channel. Also I need different rules for files on each channel. Is this all feasible?

    There's no such functionality, sorry. You either have to do it manually or use some of the third-party "migration" tools.

    @Vanderhoudelingen, Christy ,

    As michev said, this feature is not supported now.

    Each public channel in a team has the same members as the team. Private channel could choose a subset of people in a team. You could use private channel as a workaround to create different department in a same team.

    For more details of private channel, please refer to this article.
