WiFi and USB Driver Problems

Hi all,

after some hardware problems I had to restart my PC. Both, the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 as well as the USB Root Hub failed to load. According to the Device Manager, the Wifi Device cannot start (Code 10) and the USB Root Hub may be corrupt or missing (Code 39)

I tried uninstall/reinstalling the drivers, but this didn't help. I also tried deleting the UpperFilters and LowerFilter registry values, but they did not exist neither for the WiFi Adapter nor for the USB.

Could any one help with this issue?

Thanks!

What is the exact make and model?

    Open Start, type: system information

    Hit Enter

    Click System summary

    Look in the right pane

Copy the system sku info into reply here.

If its custom built, what is the make and model of the motherboard?

I see some available updates available for your make and model I recommend you apply.

BIOS Update August 2018 - your last BIOS update was from 2016

    https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/0n...

    Chipset Driver February 2017

    https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/ai...

    Wireless adapter August 2017

I also noticed you are still on the older Windows 10 1803, I recommend you try upgrading to the newer Windows 10 1903 release.

Go to the following page then click 'Update Now'
