    Hi nightearth

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Take actions related to Display Driver as the first level of troubleshooting

Windows Key+X > Click Device Manager > Expand Display Adapter > Right click on entry below >

    A. Rollback the Driver

Click Properties > Go to Driver tab > If there is rollback option, click it

    B. Update driver from manufacturer's website

Go to the website of the driver's manufacturer or computer's manufacturer > See if some driver is released for your model and OS > If yes, download that > In previous option, click Uninstall > Install the downloaded driver > Restart your computer

You will need to restart your computer after the above steps.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.

Thank you for your swift reply Vijay.

I tried to download the driver from the Nvidia website but there are two options that I am not familiar with.

I am wondering if you can help me please.

    1. Windows Key+x > Device Manager > Right click on your nVidia driver (under Display driver) > Properties > Driver tab > Post the screenshot here
    2. Also let me know the make and model of your computer.

In your screenshots what you have given, just leave them as default. You don't need to make a choice for Driver type and download type.

Note - Create a system restore point first so that if something wrong happens you can revert.

Type restore point in Cortana Search > Create a Restore point > Check whether against your drive, Protection is ON or not. If not ON, click Configure button below to Make it ON > Now press Create to create a restore point
