Will MS ever fix Visual Studio for doing WPF

Updated to latest release just to make sure.
When I close VS with XAML files open, upon restarting VS either the XAML file has the panes reversed or only one of the designer/XAML code panes show.
Does MS do QA?

Will this problem also occur when using Visual Studio to open other programs (such as UWP)? Could you show me the Visual studio interface when the problem occurs? -

2021-03-19T12:03:21.143+00:00 Another detail is that the file shown in the screenshot is constant at not loading correctly while others sometimes load correctly and other times (and I have no pattern as to why) load with only one pane.

2021-03-19T21:43:27.427+00:00 I just noticed that even when I close the window designer and reopen it what is shown is just the XAML. The graphical designer is not show until you click the split icon, then since it loads the designer at the bottom (personal preference) I have to click the reverse panes icon. I have "enable project code" turned off and I am opening it when it is compiled (correctly) and it is pretty consistently wrong on opening.

What does yoursplit iconmean? Are they the part circled in the picture below?
