For the part
There is no metadata that contains the wrong name which is showing in the search result.
Does the wrong title is actually a title inside the word document? If this is the situation you are in?
Have checked the managed property mapping? If not, please first have a check on the managed property mapping in Search schema. Go to Central Admin —> Manager Service Application —> Search Service Application> Search Schema. Search the managed property for "title" and check the mappings, If there is a crawled property called “MetadataExtractorTitle” , move it down to last place and do a re-index for testing.
