Hi is there a way to NOT have the Replace the File in the Destination pop window hidden on another tab?? I find this ludicrous that Windows had the hair brain idea to hide the important  and required to click a button window by default!

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that the pop window for Replace the file destination is hidden on another tab, we will look into this for you. I would like to know if you are using multiple monitor setup on the computer.

In the meantime, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and check if that helps:

Method 1: Restore folder options to default

You can try resetting the File Explorer folder options to default and see if the issue persists. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Press Windows key + E, to open File Explorer.
  2. Click on View and click on Options.
  3. Navigate to View tab and click on Restore Defaults.
  4. Click on Apply and OK.

Method 2: Change Ease of Access settings

If Method 1 didn’t help, you can change the Ease of Access settings and check. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Press Windows key + R, to open Run dialog box.
  2. Type control and click on OK.
  3. Select large icons from the drop down for View by.
  4. Now, click on Ease of Access Center.
  5. Click on Make the mouse easier to use.
  6. Clear the checkbox for Activate a window by hovering over it with a mouse and Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen.
  7. Click on Apply and OK and check if the issue persists.

Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.
