    Hi Hadir

Try creating that file on your Desktop, then copy that file into C:\Windows\System32

If that does not work for you, here is an alternate method:

Click the link below to download a small free utility that does not require installation

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/d...

When the file downloads, unzip it.

Depending on your system, run Autoruns or Autoruns64 as Administrator

With that utility, you can right click and delete any startup item in Windows

Just be careful not to delete any required process . . . In the search box, type vbs and hit Enter

If that see that maintenance.vbs file listed, untick that entry . . .

    Restart your PC . . .

    Hi Hadir

This is very a common problem, that is left over from malware that has already bee deleted form your PC, the solution is to basically recreate that file and put an exit script into it

    Open Windows File Explorer

On the View Ribbon, temporarily turn on 'Hidden Items

    Navigate to:

    C:\Windows\system32

If maintenance.vbs exists right click that and choose Edit

Put this text in that file and save it:

    Wscript.Quit

If that file does not exist, right click in that folder and choose New - Text Document

Put this text in that file:

    Wscript.Quit

Then click File - Save As

At the bottom of the save as dialog, set save as type to *.*

    Save the files as maintenance.vbs

Note you must enter the vbs file extension yourself

    Restart your PC
