Snipping Tool not saving files

My snipping tools in windows 8.1 pro takes screen shot but when I press save button , the cursor changes to dot and it does not show the save dialogue box.

    Thanks.

    Actually my Pictures folder was deleted and thats why the save dialogue box was not appearing.

    I have now created new folder in desktop menu with the name pictures and now snipping tool is working fine.

    To capture the complete screenshot press the Windows Key + PrintScreen > it will be saved to the Screenshots folder that is created in the Pictures folder.
