What about changing the name and password and to make her new administrator?

The Administrator is not the 'owner' or 'manager' of a computer. The Administrator account is simply the user account with highest permissions. Anyone who knows the password to the Administrators account can exercise those permissions.

For our own, human, purposes, we may want to consider or designate someone as the owner or manager of a computer ... but it makes no difference to Microsoft nor to any other company whose software  you install on the computer.

Hi Jim,

I'm Tevita your advisor, glad to help you with your request.

The best option for you is if you are planning to give away your computer to a friend.

  1. Back up your files and applications

https://www.faqforge.com/windows/windows-10/tak...

  1. You can either clean Windows 10 or rebuild Windows 10 from a bootable usb, follow this guide to clean wipe Windows 10:

  1. Rebuild Windows from scratch: Follow this guide to build Windows 10:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you will wait to choose if I solved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

    Nothing.

Insofar as activation is concerned, a Windows 10 computer doesn't know who owns it and doesn't care. Doesn't matter.

The goal of activation is to ensure that a copy of Windows 10 is installed on just one computer at a time. Doesn't matter who owns the computer - as long as it's the same computer upon which Windows 10 was originally activated.
