I am trying to create a new account on windows but some apps I've downloaded outside the Microsoft store carry over to the new account I had made. When I tried deleting an app that carried over it also deleted the app on the old account.  Is there a way I can prevent these apps from carrying over to the new account?

Hi I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Most programs don't give the choice which accounts to install upon so are available to All Users unless you block them following steps I can give you.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
