I have a Dell Desktop running Windows10. There are regularly very long periods of intense internally-generated activity on my computer. For example between 00:00 and 13:30 on 22nd March there were 1335 security events, with 314 logons and 290 special logons, all with Source = Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing. The hard drive was constantly activity for hours, extremely loudly. This happens regularly - several times a week. This seems excessive and worrying.
