how to grant access to teams to my school gmail accounts

I need to let people from my school google workspace account to access teams in order to organize meeting for more than 100 people.
I managed to get azure directory to import accounts from google directory but still gmail accounts cannot log in with their account and the reply they get when they try is:

AADSTS50107: The requested federation realm object 'https://accounts.google.com/o/saml2?idpid=C041hzqaw' does not exist.

How can I solve the problem? Is there a procedure to fix this?
