Hi Sumit, can you escalate this issue
with microsoft. the s mode issue and inability for users to GET new apps are closely linked. There is a lot of noise on this forum and many other windows forums about this. It needs to be fixed urgently
thanks
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I click the "Get" button on the app details page, it does nothing, no refresh, no response. It doesn't work on any app I don't own. But I can download and install any apps in my library normally. I can only download new apps by clicking "add to cart" and go to the checkout page.
Following methods are what I've tried but didn't fix:
Sign out my store account and sign in
Uninstall and reinstall store
Register all apps
wsreset then reboot
Change proxy server
Clear the host
sfc /scannow
The problem still exists, plz help.

There seems to be a big issue on microsoft’s end. Loads of people are running into this issue. We have three machines at home and different user accounts spanning them, all experiencing this. Much like you they are able to get updates and redownload/install apps but any new app where the GET button is clicked yields no response. No amount of troubleshooting at the user end will
fix this. this is an issue on microsoft’s side but as always it is difficult to get them to acknowledge the issue and then actually address it. my suggestion is to try and raise the profile of this big issue. I tweeted microsoft support and then went into the feedback hub/app on my pc to report this issue
thanks, Wayne

Hi,
I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.
Are you trying to switch out of S mode or all apps exhibit this behaviour?
We are aware of reports of inability to switch out of S mode for certain devices. I suggest waiting for a while and check.
I am windows 10 pro using organization's activition service, is that mean I'm out of S mode? I installed windows 10 myself using official iso image. All those apps in store except i've owned have this issue : (
