Hey, can anybody give me a rough idea of how many lines of code there are in Windows 10? It's for a school assignment.

Part of your assignment would be where to obtain such information from. The answer is amazingly simple: Ask Google like so:

2020-01-12T17:54:53+00:00 Yes but every reference on Google is based on numbers from older versions of Windows such as XP and Vista. I have seen no credible source which can point to a statement by Microsoft on it. Everybody is either trying to extrapolate for old numbers or saying that it was 50 million for Vista and we don't know what it is now.
