We've been using the MSRC Security Updates API for a while to get security updates information. However, the API has been returning 'Error 403 - This web app is stopped from March 17th 2021). Is the API down? Has there been any change recently in usage instructions? Any other ideas why this error might be thrown? url: https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/api/security-guidance/en-us/excel

    Here was their response.

We migrated to a new version of our Security Update Guide last fall. This week we started shutting down the old resources underlying the previous portal. Those APIs were designed for the old portal, never publicly documented or really intended for direct consumption, but we apologize for the surprise and disruption.

The long documented CVRF API hasn’t changed (aside from opening up publicly, no longer requiring an API Key). Up-to-date Swagger docs can be found at Microsoft Security Updates API | MSRC.
