How do I remove the Windows Action Center box from my screen? It appeared during updates but now I can't remove it and it is on bottom right on every page. There is no "X" and nothing happens when I right click. There is an "Action Center" box at top of box and "Open Action Center" hyperlink at bottom of box. They both work. There is text in the middle of the box that reads: "You can use Action Center to review recent messages about your computer's status and find solutions to problems. " But I don't want to go to action center, I want the box off my screen. This is Windows 7 system.

It worked! After changing the settings as you showed and then rebooting, the box is gone. Thank you ElderN
