sharepoint page draft story/page

I want to know if i have a draft story, and if i go ahead and edit it, but then discard changes, will it show the version before i started to edit, or will it show a blank page. please note that the page has never been published.

    Hello @t ,

    In my testing, the page will show the style when you edit.

    For example:

    This is the page style when you edit, and the page is not published

    When you forcibly leave the page and discard changes.

    View the page again, the page will show the style when you edit

    Hi @t ,

    I followed the steps you provided to test:

    Step1.Create a page and edit.

    Step2.Save as draft.

    Step3.Edit page again (Delete the contents I saved in draft in Step2)

    Step4.Discard changes

    After performing the above steps, I found that the page shows the contents that I operated in the Step3.

    If you want to view the page contents of Step2 (Before discarding changes). Please go to the Site Pages library, then select the specified page and click on "Version history".
