Audio crackling, popping, and delayed.

Whenever I am doing something, sometimes it seems something particularly CPU intensive, the audio starts to pop/crackle. This occurs in all forms of media (games, music, youtube, zoom), however the audio out of sync only occurs while watching youtube or a zoom meeting. I have done so many things to try to fix this, including:

  • Updating my audio drivers so many times and ways.
  • Following way too many youtube tutorials.
  • Restarting the computer way too often to be good for it.
  • Reinstalling Windows per "Get Help" tech recommendation.

My computer is brand new as of Christmas and has the following specs:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700F CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB
Device ID 3295A1B5-18C9-47C3-83ED-61E20E19BB1B
Product ID 00325-80151-74910-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

(purchased from IBuyPower through Costco)

OS specs:

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 20H2
Installed on ‎3/‎22/‎2021
OS build 19042.867
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

I honestly don't know what to do, all that I know is that it started when I downloaded, then immediately uninstalled Voicemeeter Banana.

My computer originally came with Realtek HD audio drivers, as well as Realtek HD Audio Manager. I don't know what happened to the manager, I can't seem to find a way to get it back, and it doesn't seems to matter what drivers I use, the crackling persists. I would appreciate any help.

    Hi ,

It seems you have solved the problem by downloading Driver Easy and updating to the latest (2020) Realtek HD Audio Drivers. Is that right? Please feel free to let me know if I have any misunderstanding.

You could accept it as answer to help anyone who encounters similar issues.

Appreciate your understanding and thanks for your sharing.

    Best Regards,
