Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you are receiving the error Windows Boot Manager boot failed, when booting the PC.
One of the things that you can try is rebuilding the BCD file using Bootrec command and see if that helps.
- Create a bootable media and boot the PC using the media.
- On the initial setup screen, select the language and other preferences and click on Next. (If you don't see the setup screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to change your PC's boot order, and then try again.)
- Now, click on Repair your computer.
- On the System Recovery Options screen, select Troubleshoot> Advanced options > Command Prompt.
- Now type in the commands and hit Enter:
BOOTREC /FIXMBRBOOTREC /FIXBOOT
BOOTREC /scanos
BOOTREC /rebuildbcd bootsect /nt60 SYS 6. Restart the PC.
Note: If you receive any error message after running bootsect /nt60 SYS command, then you can try running bootsect /nt60 ALLcommand.
Let us know how it goes.
